Prosci Overview

Prosci has been conducting Change management studies throughout its research history, the first study was conducted in 1998 involving 102 companies but, with the number of participants steadily increasing in the last decade, this culminated in the fifth study in 2007 involving 426 companies worldwide. A 2009 Study has recently been completed which is the first to integrate data and research outcomes from previous years to provide a consistent and reliable desk reference for practitioners. Each subsequent study provides Prosci with a stronger and more culturally diverse database allowing for Prosci material to both cater for the unique nature of each culture whilst comprehending the universal character of change and how it affects the organisations experiencing it. Prosci's extensive (approximately 2000 participating organisations) research also incorporates some of the largest organisations worldwide including, but not limited to:

  • NASA,
  • Motorola,
  • Symantec,
  • United Nations,
  • HP,
  • Intel,
  • US Department of Defence,
  • Aflac,
  • University of California,
  • Kraft,
  • Standard Bank Group

This wide range of participating organisations ensures that the research outcomes span across both the public and private sectors without excluding an academic perspective on change.
